Is vaping (electronic cigarette) still being considered a "smoker"? (110)

Anyway...nicotine does give you pleasure as a chemical (look it up)...of course taking no chemicals is better and thats the goal...the route we are taking is by vaping (as in vapor as opposed to smoke)

I've never smoked a cigarette in my life. Real or electronic ones. My brother, when he was a smoker, offered a cigarette a few times, but I always refused.

funny you should ask that...I don't smoke weed but I have heard that they are using the same concept...don't know much about weed, but I can't see why they want to do that
In Canada Ecigs with nicotine are banned but I'm sure there's probably some sold underground. If you try to import it yourself there's a good chance it will get caught and seized at the border.
Locally they are even trying to ban the ones without nicotine. They aren't regulated and don't like how they're being sold to minors esp with the candy flavours. And some say it could lead them to using real smokes. Also people smoke them indoors so they are worried about 2nd hand smoke and said they contained chemicals such as propylene glycol, nitrosamines and even heavy metals such as lead.
I have seen guys smoke them on the skytrain and bus. The first time on the skytrain I was a bit surprised and found it odd since normally regular smoking indoors/enclosed area isn't allowed. I thought it was a bit forward of the person to do it. When it happened on the bus the guy was right near me and I smelled it and inhaled it. I thought it was rude. I think if you're vaping you should respect the people around you and still smoke outdoors. In saying that I don't really care if they smoke them around me it's just the lack of respect that bothers me more.
