felixis99: I don;t have a problem with that ..... but of course if we don't "interfere" we'll be criticized for not helping the helpless civilians or some such

they hate us when we side with someone they don;t like (as though as a sovereign nation we are somehow not entitled to form our own alliances lol) or (as in India) we send home their naughty diplomats....... but they love us as soon as they need us...be it money or military might....then we are their best friends

phooey I say...y'all can have at it w/ each other whilst we stay home and close out borders and keep our energy here. tired of the damned if we do - damned if we don;t...lol
Amen.

Tapajos: US spent billions of Dollars for weapon and weapon technology. The weapon lobby is strong over there. Its just a fekking business for them, also to russia, china and so on.

What are they going to do with all these weapons? Testing and using them outside of there own countries. What else?

So we are talking about business made on the dead bodies of the poore ones who try to claim a piece from the cake.

I wouldn't say its a us problem. Its a worldwide problem. But the us take a major part in this subject.
Germany doesn't sell weapons? How about chemicals that can be weaponized?

dan_barry64: sadly most wars raging at the moment have been started due to Us policies,
they interfere too much in other countries, act in haste and then regret at leisure.

Like the ones in your Neck of the Woods, well, since about 1948,alternately with Pakistan and China?

Where did i say Germany does not sell weapons???? Where??? Germany is indeed Nr.1 since 2008 in selling submarines worldwide. 10% of the Weapons we produce are going to the US. For example, The barrel from the Abrams Tank is made by Rheinmetall and built under licence called M256 from Generaly Dynamics. In Tank technics germany is (no miracle) still the leading country worldwide.

But thats not the point! The point was should the US mind their business and stay out of every war. MY opinion was meant about the lobby in producing weapons and weapon technology. The US just can't go this way and stop being Nr. 2 worldwide in weapon transfers.
We are talking about Dollars and Dollars and Dollars. Money rules the world.

Benny1518: Ccincy.. The US is the sole "Super Power" in the world. It does have an obligation to help maintain peace and stability around the world. There are a few people here calling for isolationism , however, that's where the US was before Japan bombed Pearl Harbor.

The only obligation the US has is to it's own people not policing the world. All the money used have been used here in the states.

The US is established by interests in war-zones. It can NOT mind its business. Obama camping is for the foolish.

ladyirish130: I'm interested in other countries opinions. I personally think the U.S. interferes too much and should concentrate on our own issues at home because there's plenty of them.

interested in other opinions countries?

did you know that they hate America? Specially France
