It seems like whenever someone creates a thread topic and if someone doesn't like the thread creator they continue to harass them then the gang chimes in and pretty soon more people chime in.

Yep, I've noticed this too. There are those who claim to never judge an individual but it's obvious that there's a lot of judgement going on in the forums.
