minnieme2: And many more! Oh those disco lights, heady music and guys trying out their John Travolta moves!
As much as I hated dancing to Disco, there were some good songs. What is recognized as the first Disco song is a goodun, "Rock my Baby". The Bee Gee's were flushable.... (just my opinion)
@ pedalguy: awww, did the Bee Gees get you all flushed? aww and poor Barry the only one left now. Loved Tragedy! Boogie Wonderland is definitely one of my favourites too.
@ocee: I've heard of it. No ocee, we didn't have it at the time but at least now you can get everything on youtube. Heard great things about it.

minnieme2: Whatever lights your candle. This thread is for those who enjoyed disco/dance songs.
It's good to appreciate many kinds of music. Not narrowed to one particular kind or be a music snob. I have fun memories of going to discos and enjoyed dancing.
Some more goodies :
Viola Wills - Aha mmhmm, Gonna Get Along Without You Now Jackson 5 - I want you back Typically Tropical - Starship Trooper Rose Royce - Car Wash Anita Ward - Ring My Bell
I think I prefer being the music knob, to that noise....

I danced to it because my GF at the time was into it. For listening at the time was strictly Rock n Roll for me. Dancing is enjoyable, and none of us do that much any more. .......and positive affirmation never hurt anyone.

Yeah, I guess positive affirmation and a slow dance with a man of my choice....would be pretty amazing.
I haven't had the opportunity to dance since my daughter took a video of me dancing in the lounge, solo.....and posted it all over her FB page....much to my horror....

Yeah I liked rock and roll too and other kinds of music. Dancing is a great way to keep fit too. Love a bit of ol' positive affirmation!
minnieme2: any excuse eh! buzzzzzzzzzzzzzhere's a bit of positive affirmation for ya: "I can affirm that your test results are back and the result is positive!!!"
Yikes Hopefully I can get treatment. A constantly swollen member is inconvenient at times.
