takeit4granted: thats changed quite a bit dru,,,,its a gentlemans ( with an edge ) bike
Yeah, but it's the edge I don't need...but I agree that there are now attorneys and people like Jay Leno riding touring Harleys...but I still like the Goldwing better, it's a bit quieter. And besides, it's the bike my other half wants to get, so I'd better prefer it. Apparently, it's what I'll be riding on. After all, if he's at the controls, he chooses which controls, not me.

I actually like the style of the newer Goldwings a lot...I love the new look when they redesigned it a few years ago. BMW also makes a nice touring bike, and it sits a bit higher for those who have longer legs, if I remember correctly, unless they've made changes to it.

I had an opportunity to ride a BMW,,,beautiful ride,,maybe the best I've tried. A cross between riding a horse and an airplane to me,,my way of getting lost in something I very much enjoy
I grew up in Sturgis SD so the only bike that is a real bike in my opinion . Harleys or Indian are both great bikes. And nothing hotter than a biker with lots of tattoos
takeit4granted: pure blasphomy,,did Honda send you here?
naaaahhhh lol though I have had a harley before and I spent waaaaaayyy to much time wrenching on it, and when a frend of mine let my ride his kawasaki ninja I never looked back lol. But I do believe all bikes have their function. in a perfect world I would have a chopper and a sportbike.
The results of this poll are surprising. Like I said I have owned a harely. and yes it attracted the attention of women, but when I got a sportbike it seemed that the number of women that the bike attracted tripled. I know a few guys with tourers and the like and they are usually dimissed as rub's=(Rich urban bikers) but I did notice that my sportbike attracted a different type of women, but I would like some of you ladies give invite to why you are attracted to the bikes you are attracted to.
mortalez: you can ride your own, just the point of the thread was to see what bikes attract women when a guy is riding it.
well i'd be stuck riding on the back anyway, seeing as i don't have a motorcycle license.....i do hope to get one one day. but since i don't have one yet i voted cruisers. if i got one of my own though, i'd have to go with a sportbike..
