I can still remember him.. I was 15 and he was the only guy who when I stood next to him ever made my knees shake.. And the mosquitoes, I still remember the mosquitoes the night I met him.. we were watching a band outdoors..
I ran into him years later..at a campground where we both camped. we were both married then,so not much more than hellos between us..

Villa Cresta Elementary School carnival. Age 13, 1965, I became close with Edith Walker. We were together throughout a Saturday. We ventured out in the nearby woods, as our friends did, as well. We kissed, my first kiss, with a girl. There were many other kisses that night. The next day, even with the same folks, we were very uncomfortable, almost as if ashamed, eyes askance, down, we never touched one another, ever, again. The day after the day after, I walked to a point, perhaps halfway the distance to that place that I felt love, or at least, that place where a new joy arrived, and I sang. I sang "Woman", the Peter and Gordan song, and "Eight Miles High", Byrds song. I still feel that way. I still feel that love. I am reminded of those wonderful times by the wonderful times that I have found recently in the amazing love that lifesajoy shows to me. So, I feel like a young teen, and it is terrific! I love Lyn so much and so very, very deeply. I shake all over as I think of her. Yes, that's all I can do now....shake...I love her so.

We were both 17. I had my first car. What started out as paradise by the dashboard lights became a solid friendship throughout our 11th grades. It felt so natural to spend all our time together,learning, giving and sharing our hopes and dreams.
What tore us apart was when her mother started making wedding plans. We both knew we needed a little more growing up. Haven't seen her since '72 but will never forget Gisele.

I got to know Ray thru the years and at the tender age of 19, we were IN LOVE
He was an amaaaaaaazing man and I loved him with all my heart and soul....
however, his life was shortened when he died in a horrible car accident.... he was 26 and I was but a few months away from my 21st birthday....
that saddened me and that day will always be remembered, it was the first day of summer... June 21st
the saddest part? we were to wed that year...on my birthday...
God love him....
wow, I just realized it's gonna be 23 years this coming June...

I was just 18, a very immature 18 at that, and went home with my college best friend for the weekend. All I remember is her gorgeous 16 year old brother with the prettiest blue eyes. We were both extremely shy, but were both smitten. We played pong on the atari all weekend. We dated for a while, but he had the habit of running away at the first sign of trouble instead of staying, talking, and working through it. He ran away one too many times.

I was 14 she was 16 we went out about two years then she told me to get lost... come to find out about 9 years later she was also the mother of my child, which was part of why she told me to get lost apparently.... Yup that's a long story. 
I had a huge crush in 2nd grade and cut her hair off to prove how much I liked her... yep talk about demented view... but that cured that view real quick. But she was also the first girl I ever kissed... well I should say she kissed me...
