zombie01: Yes, there are lots of good people here on CS. I agree. But the fact is, most genuine people sit at the computer screen wondering if the person in the picture is actually that person.
I cannot speak for all people, only myself, I do not wonder if the person is actually that person. I am a trusting person and believe that the people in this forum and I have been here for nearly 18 months, are genuine.

Yes there are...I have met a couple people from here...In fact...I had a friend of mine come from England and spend a month with me 2 years ago and we are still good friends and had a blast together....and I have some other great friends that I still have yet to meet like Lela...but that's on my to do list for sure...and I have no doubt they are genuine...not just by who they are physically but also on the inside as well....

Not necessarily so.Round up all your family members from all areas, nephews , nieces etc. Get them to ask all their online friends[whom they have never met in person/ via webcam etc..PLEASE NOTE webcam is not 100% effective in proving who that person actually is. Webcam can be tampered to suit] to pose in a photo with words chosen by you. Watch how many wont conform to this logical and reasonable request. A lot of people are not the person in the photo. Some are, some are not.
Its a guessing game to be honest about it.

Yeah and I do as well and look forward to meeting Shelly and a few others that I have also known a long time. Great friends like them have made life so much more fun and real.I also believe most of our regulars here are good people and real. See, I am intrigued. He has refused to answer my questions, because I am anonymous, which is okay, I can understand that. He has answered a couple. But I am described as anonymous.
Yet in a public forum, Zombie is asking people, such as DKNEW, to prove who they are, and advise John, to invite all his friends and family to some event.

zombie. I just bought a new computer and my web cam is not compatable with it.I also do not have a digital camera so I cannot download a photo . Now if you ask me how I got the photos on here that I have , my daughter took them when she was visiting and I got them off her my----- web site. So my question to you would be is How would I prove I am who I say I am ? I am not really worried about it tho as I think my profile sounds very real and rather plain and if I was to be a scammer iot would be much differant, as John has said they are rather easy to spot. I can only see that being asked to prove he is real will do one of two things. He will be insulted, r ignore your request.
