Ok so she's in California not Texas thank God, but Californian's haven't been any too happy about her actions or the staggering hospital bills they're being asked to pay for her kids care.
ps. There are more homo-sapians alive today than have died throughout our entire species history! I find that truely a chilling statistic. Also atmospheric oxygen levels are at their lowest in some 30 thousand years or so scientist have found (studying deep ice cores they can examine tiny air bubbles trapped in the ice thousands of years ago when it was 1st laid down at the surface)... gee, wonder why!

Scientist studying the world's human population have predicted that future wars will be fought over fresh water supplies, not oil nor ideology. You can only stretch the planet's resources so far before something has to give and somebody has to die... I'd rather it be you or yours (theoretically speaking, for now) than me or mine that has to die. Think about it... your children are going to grow up and have to live in that world of the near future.
Either we need another planet for the excess human population to move to (and I don't see that happening in the future anytime soon), or else something's going to give and it won't be pretty or kind!

Yes, the Earth's population is a serious issue, but more serious is that we're not doing what we need to do to make sure that there are enough resources to care for all of us...we don't need efforts to control the population, but efforts to take care of what we have created.
Honestly, the planet was designed to be able to do so...we're the reason She hasn't lived up to being able to do it. If we'd stop destroying Mother Earth and care for Her instead, we'd be in a much better place.
