Not a matter of addiction for me. I just like to smoke. I don't do it to be cool or one of the gang, it's just like drinking a coca cola to me. Not to mention, it's good for tension relief.

I would just like a date 
I don't smoke...never even tried it and I'm glad I didn't.
I would never pick up an ashtray and kiss it.....but respect people who do smoke.
It's either an addiction for them or they just enjoy it.
Gotta respect each persons choice

I quit 3 and a half weeks ago myself. I'm still going strong. I quit 1st off for the price. I can't justify spending $60.00 every 10 days to kill myself. My 2nd motivating factor is health reasons.

Awesome, Larry.
My date has already been picked...one day before what you posted. The 19th and 20th are my weekend, and I plan to return to work on the 21st as an ex-smoker. It's time to do this for good. And for me, it's a sign of my support of my best friend and her cancer battle (the timing, not the quitting...that I'm doing for me). I can't help her change her lifestyle if I'm not able to change mine.

I looked at your profile and appears to me you need more than one pic, AND the one I see is very dark...........

I have heard that ,even after all those years you can still long
Talk about a dreadful addiction ,it is lethal.
I keep saying to myself the I never have to smoke another
cigarette if I don't want to .

Just to clarify one thing...she's not a smoker...she has other lifestyle changes to make like diet and exercise to fight this. My quitting smoking is to support her in making tough changes too.

When I quit they were 65 cents a pack. I said then that they were too high. Try sugar free hard candy to suck on. It helps. I didnt use sugar free and started gaining weight.------ This poll is Archived ------
