Snuggs09: Normally I wouldn't ask such a personal question but since you posted it....are you into heavy drug use?
God No...I'm a little too old for the drug use anymore. I't be far too embarrassing at my age to wind up face down in a gutter somewhere, but in my hay day, I have to say that I probably gave Keith Richards a run for his money.

Everyday I get behind the wheel of my car I have to take my life into my hands with the drivers here - they are the worst..................... But I have to do it to get from A to B.

There is an element of danger for me on a daily basis, and I don't mean from driving or possibly being hit by a bus as I cross a street. I mean from my job. I've been in both Iraq and Afghanistan, I've been in "duck and cover" mode more than once, hearing "This is NOT a drill....I say again...this is NOT a drill" over a loudspeaker. I've heard the incoming and I've heard it hit in the not-so-far-distance. The desk where I sit now is approximately 6 feet from where an RPG struck 2 years ago. It was early in the morning and I was still in bed, but...had it been an hour and a half later, and if I was at my desk then, I might not be typing this now. Having said all of this, I don't walk in fear. I go about my life the same I would if I lived in Smalltown, USA. I don't think about it, other than to be aware of my circumstances and to use my head. I recognize that my job carries more risk than many, but I don't dwell on it. I would leave my job if I had a sense of doom hanging over me all the time.
jaynimble: Like, I almost drowned, or fell two stories and landed on my head but im fine only 2 stiches, or going down the steepest hill in town on my bike and almost be decapitated by a sign, or my friend was making a exsplosive and it went off a little early, or the propane tanks were leaking and my friend lights up a lighter to see the leak, or a head on car crash avoided my a milisecond but still hit the side, lol i had no seat belt.
Do I dare ask why you're freind was building an explosive???
As for me I was born premature with the cord around the neck and almost drowned when i was 5. I do work in the medical field which does increase my chances on the "swine flu" and other communicable diseases that can turn deadly. I do drive on Texas highways which claims thousands of lives a year. But other than that not too much.
