It's Sunday morning, I am too mellow and in a lazy mood now, or I'd look up a similar to this thread (we've done it N number of times here on CS) where women were telling their stories about their ex-husbands clearing up mutual bank accounts right before breaking the "news" that they found a newer model.

Why is it that when woman are soundly beaten in an arguement as you clearly have been

Women who date men just for money they have makes me 
money does not equal happiness in my opinion. I dated a man who had a bit of money and he was a great guy but we were not compatible.
A man should be able to be financially independent and not rely on a woman but the same goes for women
women have equal rights-in most places-and can just as easily get a job and pay their own way. that being said a man that takes pleasure in treating the woman he is saying to a nice dinner or a movie is still appreciated by most but if she insists on paying he should agree
if all he has going for him is a bank account I wouldn't date him

Good men are hard to find. Money is something that one can work for. I think the time spent with someone who cares for me deeply and shows that in all the ways possible, is far more precious and important than money. If we have enough money to put a roof over our head, food on the table and just a little to do other things with, I am happy. Money cannot buy happiness but the love of a good man can bring happiness. 
bdbtpl2009 I have to agree with you. What happened to looking for a partner in life. Life is not about looks and money. I think if people looked for the qualities and not so much the looks and money there would be far less divorces or break ups. Call me a hopeless optimistic but I would far rather be a "Poor Man's Woman" and be all he has than to be another "Rich Man's Possession".

You got that right girl. The bankroll means nothing if there is nothing there to connect with. There is so much more to life than $$$$$$$$$$$. Yes we do have to have it to survive but both can work to have it. I have supported two men and that is degrading in it's self. Took me a long time to realize that. When both are physically and mentally capable of earning an income then they should both do it.
Monarchs_R_Free: I know that you have to be speaking to a select group because women are on condescending end of that from men too. Some men can and are just as condescending and patronizing as you say women are. Carrying the scars from men of those kinds are not easy to do. Don't put all women in the same category just like I can't put all men in the same category.
