Not to vote is a votefor the status quo. I'll vote for any politician who agrees to hand back his/her salary for the last 5 years, since they didn't earn it.
What has me surprised, is that more women didn't put themselves forward as 'Independents' - that would have provided a REAL alternative to what's there.

i will vote for womever makes the county council buy mu folks house since they sold it ot intinerants witout telling anyone- leavign my folks with a house they hoped to live tin til they die with a very small chance of selling it on. and also i woudl vote for this person to see why the council paid 300,000 plus for a wrecked cottage on a piece of badly drained land wioth no mains, water or septic.. hmm.
have never seen father so broken- is soul destroyring- all he ever did was work hard, pay taxes and do the best for us. I will have war with them over next week!

I think a lot of women see politics as a male dominated area. Of course only women can change that.
If I was allowed to run for office I would. But as a civil servant I'm not allowed. I would have to give up my job. Much as I would absolutely love to do that I would have to be guaranteed a seat and an income. Bills to pay and all that.

I completely agree with you. They are doing all the wrong things and they are digging the country into a bigger hole! They need to stop supporting their cronies in the banks and the building sector (not all in the building sector..just the cronies..before anyone jumps down my throat).
