bestat45: You know, these are nice people here, and maybe instead of sitting there thinking up nasty things to say, you should just take your toys, and go play somewhere else. Come back when you have learned some manners. Bet ya anything, people would even be nicer to you as well.
Um how about.....Nope. Your not exactly demonstrating good manners buy intruding my conversation, besides It's too much fun being a heckler to give up.
I have my own very nice car and my own money...in in the greater scope of things I don't need it from someone els.
However, I was once told by a guy I really liked, that's I he couldn't get serious with me because I am basically too successful. Was doing too well for myself. I was devastated! Another guy made a bold statement that I wouldn't be wife material because I have a career that I love. He assumed I wouldn't be willing to to put my career aside to raise kids. I'm like maybe I wouldn't mind being a stay at home mom. Or if my husband is cool with me working and contributing to our unit then hey I might not mind that too. He basically said he does love smart, driven women which completely contradicted his previous rant about having a career.
So now I am just gonna get rid of all my crap and look for the dude with money and the car. Cus apparently for some guys the helpless chick thing is a turn on.

That's funny;the first thing a guy asks of me is am I employed and with who. It works both ways for men and women.

nothing intruding about it, forums are for everyone, just astounded at the insults that you feel the need to dish out. It is not heckling when you make some of the comments you did. Like i said, if you are nice, nice comes back to you.

i think the question is can you really love and still have these things. Do these things make you not care when your guy has a problem you've already solved. Do you expect them to have tose things sorted to be with you? and if they dont, how do you treat em? it's a complicated issue my friend, and it's all got to do with success, or the social and personal criteria for it.

Okay not sure I understand what you wrote...not sure if you even understood what i wrote. But here is my attempt anyway.
Anyone with brain and common sense can love someone regardless of what have and what they don't have.
Only an insecure man would see a problem and frankly I don't need someone else's insecurities. I am not going to apologize for my success, but at the same time I don't rub it in anyone's face because I was raised right.
Of course it would be nice to meet someone who already had x, y and z. But x, y and z doesn't equate to love, respect, commitment, companionship, faith in each other, hugs, random I love you's, etc. If x, y and z came with these things then hey, both parties are good.
