One who has really surprised me is Madonna's ex hubby, namely Sean Penn. I'd say he's up there with De Niro and Pachino.
Also, and I know it's a bit camp, I like old Busby Berkley Musicals so Gloria Stuart or Ruby Keeler. Then of course there's the greats who's likes we'll never see again like Greta Garbo and the original blonde bombshell Jean Harlow who died at 26 and was the actress who both Marylin Munro and Jayne Mansfield modelled themselves on.
