fast and aggresive, the way the US government taught me to drive in diplomatic driveing school. Never get boxed in and always looking for the out. My current car is a 1976 Chevy Vega station wagon with the GT package, it has a 450 Corvette LSX hp mid block with a six speed manual trans, can shift from 6th to second and pull the front wheels off the ground.

i got 40 free lessons through my work and I hated every minute of it..when the instructor picked me up in my street for the 2nd lesson i jumped out his car when he stopped at the lights an ran back home with him chasing me...
lion131: road safety is an issue with just about every government in the world,so where do you fit in here?
Let's see... I learned to drive in the land of safety and home of the seat belt - so I begun as a careful driver, not too happy about city driving or the freeways.
Learned to love it more and more, got my own car, and also got work driving. Now I had turned into a stressed, speed-loving driver!
Then I moved to the States, and learned to love driving even more - although at a slightly slower pace.
Driving through Germany I learned the skill of high speed driving the safe way.
In Belgium I learned to drive in 'creative' ways - always to expect the unexpected, be ready for anything, not be surprised by anything (like drivers reversing on the freeway), and to not be afraid of chaos - things always sorted themselves out in the end.
In Stockholm I learned to be a hard-nosed, unfriendly, stick-strictly-to-the-rules driver.
In Britain I learned to drive in a friendly, polite way - on the wrong side of the road!
In Spain I have learned fast but friendly city driving, slow highway driving, and got used to drivers not only driving through green traffic lights, but also red ones. And learned to drive while surrounded by these little critters:
When younger, '70's era, fast cars, fast women, and a built 400 small block powering a chevelle, in a straight line I was a great driver, but a drunk driver headed in the other direction wasn't. Quite a few years behind the wheel of various big rigs carrying tons of weight, taught me why answers 3, and 4, should either be driving on logging roads, or not driving at all.
pastortim: It is kind of like Dukes of Hazard here, there is a highway, but once you get off the highway you are on a one lane road and when a car comes you either put the pedal to the medal and they run off the road or you get off the road for them, depends on who's vehicle is bigger. Then just watch out for any county mounties or bubble gum machines and its clear sailing home from there.
So I voted road hog, I always seem to have the bigger vehicle.

Safe driver never a speeding ticket or any ticket as far as that goes. Knocking on wood now.
But one thing that does get unders my skin. When a lane is going to end and some driver thinks they are going to cut me off. Not going to happen if I can help it. So I might have a little road rage in their.

I'll bet those lessons, for free, might have come from the teachers imagination of some other free lessons.
I'm a very good driver in that I pretty much keep to the speed limit +5 on the hiway and stay in the slow lane. On country roads though I try to double the suggested speed around curves. I never wear a seatbelt which is strange because as a former race driver I should know better. Like abram I have no doubt, I've developed a 6th sense about when somebody is going to do something stupid and I've already got an evasive maneuver planned. My biggest beef with overly careful drivers is they tend to change their minds in the middle of a maneuver and cause other people to crash trying to avoid them.
