I have no allegience to my homepage (it is google) but happily change it for money and then when I start up just go straight to favourites and hit google. Is that cheating ?

Problem with Google and Yahoo or even MSN is they track what you are looking up, its gets logged and categorized and of course your privacy is out the window.
So if you want your privacy, use
www.startpage.com
and enjoy your privacy. The search engines don't need to keep a log on you and the Government sure doesn't need to know what you have been looking up, so enjoy some privacy. cool

There are others you can use. If you want another nice anonymous search you can use
www.hidemyass.com
