It depends what's on the cover. For instance, if it's The Picture of Dorian Grey, then you can pretty much figure out that Little bo Peep is not going to be on the inside. But some books have very plain covers, yet have wonderful stories in them.
Incidentally, if this is meant as an analogy (and I assume it is) then that probably explains why that one guy once told me he could "read me like a book," but insisted he was blind and the only way he could read was by using Braille.

I think the content is much more important than the cover. I don't care how attractive the cover is, I don't want to read a vapid or annoying text once, nevermind repeatedly.

I don't normally judge books by there covers, it's only when there is no cover(no pic on a dating site) you have to be cautious. To me it doesn't matter how a person looks as long as they are honest and have a good personality.
