nitemare667: Now some people on this will make a statement about my post but im only stating my opinion so please take no offence to what i write ok.

Personally myself, i have no preference to women as of such, BBW, curvy, skinny etc. however, men do miss out on BBW.

T.v, billboards, magazines and other forms of advertisment 9 times out of 10 you will see a size 8 woman, now them doing so they instantly say to us that a woman looking like that is the perfect woman, but if they had size 16+ women on such levels of fashion, then everyone else will want to have a BBW, its fashion we all look at wether you see it or not.

My answer to your question sarah is that there are men out there to absolutely adore BBW such as yourself and there will be others you wont, and if you are single i hope for you to find a man deserving to have you for speaking your opinion in this forum, not many people i know would make a poll like this.

lrrh77: I've read a few posts now that make the common assumption that all overwieght people are that way becuase they are lazy and have poor eating habits. That is not always the case!!!!

Some have thyroid problems, some struggle with diabetes (and not all diabetics are as such from a poor diet)

Women also put on weight becuase of their choice of birth control.

Not all women have an easy time losing baby weight after child birth.

Men and Women both put on weight if they are prescribed steriods for any reason. Which is common to fight off allergic reactions and build up respiratory systems.

If only people would take a moment to try to understand instead of just assuming the worst of the person based on their physical appearance.

lrrh77: I agree completely. People are sheep. If a size 0 gets put on the cover of a magazine then every woman wants to be a size 0 and every man wants the size 0 woman. People are sheep.

scousedon: You are correct that there are many reasons for being over and underweight but the site of an obese man or woman walking through the street with a big mac, turns my stomach and wants me to shout put that down, you are killing yourself. (how hypocritical being a smoker myself) But smokers seem to be fair game). Yeah ban smokers from Pubs but McDonalds is advertised everywhere, both big costs to our health service????

And yes hypocritical of you since you smoke Everyone has a vice. Some it's cigs, some its alcohol, some its sweets. And yes both cigarette smoking and obesity take a large toll on the healthcare dollars.

lrrh77: Hi Sarah...I think what Scousedon meant by the tax payers...are those that are obese and in need of medical treatment due to their own obesity and that medical traetment is provided by the taxpayers when they do not have any of their own insurance. Maybe I am wrong..but thats how i took it.

And I do get disgusted then. Just as our tax dollars revive people that suffered injuries due to meth lab explosions or overdosed on an illegal substance. That truely irritates me.

Sorry but the truth hurts and you must be looking for some hurt to start a thread like this...so I'll comply.

Under all the psychological bullsh** is our instinct...and our instinct tells us to go for the best possible mother to ensure the survival of our children...that's baseline stuff.

Add to this the fact that men are visual creatures and that's a pretty heavy indicator that physical appearance is a major factor in a mans choice of mate.

So any man who claims to not care about physical appearance is either lying to you or has some sort of psychological issues.

And before the womens brigade comes rushing in...you women are exactly the same...although not as visually stimulated as us men your instinct for safety urges you to seek a physically fit male as the father of your children.Anything else is just crap spewed to make ourselves and others feel better...which is kind of stupid really...when the better solution for all involved is to show some self respect and be healthy.Disclaimer...it must be noted that some people do have genetics that determine their size regardless of life style choices...and in those cases it is still possible to be big and healthy.

my point is too many people presume people are fat becos they eat too much which is ridiculus while they are themselves doing damage to their bodies be it drinking smoking taking drugs not eating the right foods etc etc etc

I agree....it is rediculus that people assume lazy and poor diet when they see an overwieght / obese person. as i posted earlier in this thread. In defense of Scousedon he did call himself a hypocrit.
