Actually what is baseline is that people chose people who are the most like them. This could mean attractiveness or it could mean personlity but we are most comfortable with people who remind us of us. This is a theory, just like men are more visual than women, is a theory. In actuality the research is split on that theory as well. I know because I spent two years researching emotion and visual capture theory.

Your argument which seems very intelligent at first reading made me pause and start being curious about something you said. If men chose women based on survival of their children, why would they chose someone who is stick thin and attractive? Wouldn't you want women who are sturdy, with wide hips, and large breasts? That would be a better standard for ensuring survival of offspring. Also intelligence would factor wouldn't it? Stupid does not last long in the survival game.

Of course, I think the whole post was meant to demean the OP as well as other posts I have read. Maybe some of us aren't tiny women but we are not any less deserving of love.

I do not believe all do..... for me I love bbw's...... size is not an issue.....I do believe there are a lot of men who will not date a sweet, beautiful lady because of size.......they are afraid of what there friends would think. ...... also there is preference. ......and I am sure you have some.......

Please...this is true of emotionally healthy people of which maybe 10% of the worlds population might be. The rest are suffering from countless emotional issues and are more likely to be found searching for people who they believe have something they lack...see the popularity of the quote from the movie Toby Maguire for evidence..."you complete me".

Intelligence...exactly...so what kind of indicator of intelligence is a person who doesn't know when to stop eating or that exercise is important for health? wouldn't an intelligent person realize the dangers of obesity? Would intelligence not help a person understand that if one does not control ones appetite that more rigorous exercise is needed to maintain health?

I didn't say sick skinny I said stick thin. Very different. Also, can you tell me how I am thinking locally? I was thinking more primal drive.
