Awwwwwwww dont take on so Shirley lass,i just love my short hair and it matches my lovely high cheekbones perfectly,i have had long hair once in adulthood and it took a while to grow it long,i kept the long length for a week then got it all cut off again...just didnt suit me at all and aged me something awful..

there are benefits to both....
short is less likely to be thought of as suspicious when your gf finds one on the bed or on your shirt....
but long is nice to have in order to use as reins when you are riding the wild pony !!!!!

Here in Scandinavia it is very rare to see women over 40 with long hair.
But from France and further South it seems very normal
I randomly met my (female) cousin a couple of years ago (we are at the same age) and she told me that I would have to cut my hair, since "a woman in Your age can`t have long hair
!!"
But why not?? I love my long hair - it is a part of my personality, always had it. Would never cut it..

I only care that she enjoys having me around, how she keeps her hair is 100% up to her... 
alas, long hair requires more work than a short hair style.
