Well I doubt very much they will win outright here, but they are in a very powerful position if it comes to be a hung parliament,then we shall see their true colours. If they go right, how could they be called liberal. If they decide to go left, the I would say they are more in tune with their values of the true meaning to the word liberal in a political sense.
They will of course want top positions such as perhaps running the Home Office etc
But of course like any politician the media are digging out everything they possibly can on the Liberal Party leader, so he is not Mr Squeaky clean or holier than thou (if so they would not have the job).
The parties in the UK are actually very close to each other in terms of values, there is not much distinction between them these days as there was division 20 years ago.
