Veritaas: Vindaloo, Madras, Dansak, Korma, can you tell me where you got that information from. You know there is a restaurant called Veeraswamy in Regent Street, one of the oldest in the UK and is still running.

Just for clarification purposes I did not state in my previous post that you wanted the BNP in power, but it does sound very much like you are in agreement with them on the immigration issue, and maybe perhaps more but such you have not discussed.

The fact is you have only base your debate on one thing in regards to politics. Time and time again you keep mentioning immigration. What about the National Healthcare system, Education, the elderly. The list is endless. There is more to politics than just immigration. To vote one should really have a broad idea of what a party represent, not just one single issue.

check this out and show it to your curry shop lol

I was doing a British culture quiz with some students a few weeks ago and the question came up, "What is the most popular food in Britain?" All the students said "fish and chips" laugh and were surprised to learn that it is actually curry.

Apparently the first curry house opened in London in 1810, perhaps it´s the same one V?

I don´t vote in the UK anymore btw as I´ve lived here in Spain for almost 6 years, but if I did I´d still put my faith in Labour.

If there is a hung Parliament (which is another possbility, though this always arises during an election in the UK), it will be interesting to see the true face of the Liberal Democrats.

Was one of them but several proceeded Veeraswamy. Certain items on their menu at the time were tailor made for the British Palette.thumbs up

Not usually one for posting links, as you know the info varies but it is quite interesting to read.

What curry originated in Britian, Indian/Pakistani/Bengali cuisine over the years has been adapted to British tastes, by Indians, Bengalis and Pakistanis.

That sentence was for something for you to think about and no, I would not take it that I was wrong, mispercetion there.

Oh my you guys are good damn wish I was as smart.... believe what you wish but deep down we all know the truth , the truth that most hide deep down with their insecurity and hateful nature.

What we say on here will be forgotten but what we will begin to learn soon , will live on for a thousand thousand year.

Can you imagine everyone pure of heart , a pure and holy world...one day.

One day someone with real power and determination will run this nation , and then all will be recognised and the truth will not be able to hide like the lie's should.

Before your life times and mine are up , you will remember these debates and you will realise.

Well you can count me out of the insecure and hateful nature. And what lies are you talking about? We might well have pure hearts when we are born but many get corrupted along the way and believe nothing but hatred, which is very evident in some postings here on CS threads. So what is this deep down truth, do you know something the rest of the world doesn't already. Maybe you just have visions of the future, like many do.

Twas an awful day, but you know what, London coped very well with it. There was a cold eerie feeling about the city that day. I walked all the way home from Canary Wharf to where I live South of the river. There was not a soul in sight around, until I got to my destination. Was almost like walking through a ghost town.

People were indeed very weary for a while after that. There were searches performed on many who were carrying back packs, this was to be expected and not against anyone's human rights, for security reasons. But London recovered as it always has done.

This country and the people, unfortunately have been living with acts and threats of terrorism for many years, and deal with it very well. But on occasion mistakes do happen, but such is life, again, unfortunately. Innocent people die all over the world due to terrorism.

But one cannot tarnish all with the same brush as we know not everyone from certain cultures are terrorists.

the only way to clear us from this disease is to tar them all with the same brush as it is impossible to syphon out the good from the bad.

I lost someone important that day and i know others did too , and i know others who have round the world due to the same bunch of foreigners and i will not and others wont let them be a statistic.

I am sorry to hear that. And no one says they will be just a statistic, we all remember people that die, how can we possibly forget. We never get over it but perhaps in time it might get easier to deal with.

But to blame people that are nothing to do with it is not the right way. How do you think families felt during the WWII here in Europe? Can you imagine being told you are going for a shower and are then gassed to death?

No you cannot tarnish a whole race of people just because some of their people commit such atrocities. That would be like saying all Irish are terrorist or all muslims are terrorist, which you know is not true.

I too lost people out in Baghdad, where I worked. Now imagine living in an area like the Middle East, Afghanistan, parts of Africa, and numerous other places in the world, with the threat of death due to terrorism on a daily basis, looming over your head. Life goes on,people in these countries survive, they have no option but to.

If you let another race install hatred into you, then you are eating out of their hand. Exactly what they want. You have lost and they have won part of their battle against innocent people.
