lostx2: I agree with DB on loseing the weight for YOU. If a man doesn't accept you for who you are then he's not worth your time. Both my ex wives were overwieght, it never stopped me from loving them. Remember, the good guys always see past the outer beauty and look into the heart.
Kudos to you for loving your overweight exes. I was given hell over weight issues, had my diet and excercise monitored and in the end when I cracked under the pressure, he walked out. It's put me off men big time. I'm just well rounded, not a small frame but I've done every diet in the book and I always revert to present shape. He'd say I wouldn't do anything for him cause I refused to diet on his orders. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I've found a few men after him who were ok with the way I am. How would men feel if women started demanding a six pack?
AngelBeth76: I want to lose weight. I have lost 25 lbs so far. I gained weight over a period of an abusive marriage, 2 kids, and a lot of sickness. I'm getting better and trying my best though. I also want to get out there and date as well. I am nervous about dating while still overweight though. Do I wait until I lose a bunch of weight to get out there or do I start now. Tell me what you think!
ENJOY every minute of it, Just be at ease with yourself and know that not all men follow societal norms when it comes to chemistry.
