But how can one have "the exact same feeling" for different men ? We are all individuals and IMO we care or not , in different ways for different people... My heart can only love one person at a time in a romantic way

Is it always black & white? People change, circumstances change, perceptions change and we (hopefully) grow and learn. There are some exes whom I think 'Never darken my door again' and 'no way'.
But others, I am on good terms with 3 of the 4 women I dated for any length after my marriage. And whilst I wouldn't look backwards, precluding in absolute terms may be just as negative.

I'm on good terms with my ex wife too - see her / talk to her about our sons and fancy her not one jot. I could never go back to her or with one of the girlfriends I had post-marriage. The likelihood of getting back together with one of the others is remote too - but I wouldn't dismiss it as an absolute. I suppose it depends on how you separated and how your views of them and life have changed. I was lucky to go out with a few lovely women.

yep, this is true, its never an absolute...but i think more often than not its better to move on, forwards not go backwards...the reasons why u separated to begin with usually rear theyr head again eventually..IMO anyway that is------ This poll is Archived ------
