ChasingCars: Is it always black & white? People change, circumstances change, perceptions change and we (hopefully) grow and learn. There are some exes whom I think 'Never darken my door again' and 'no way'.
But others, I am on good terms with 3 of the 4 women I dated for any length after my marriage. And whilst I wouldn't look backwards, precluding in absolute terms may be just as negative.

it can happen, it might just be that you have never been in the situaton yet. a little more than 10yrs ago when my ex and i were very much in love i had a lot of contact through work with another man and was shocked to find i was falling in love with him! i never did anything about it because i was happy and i'm not someone who would enjoy cheating. what made it slightly harder was that i knew the 'other man' was in love with me!
so i say..never say never

I was a butcher by trade,I worked all hours start at 5 pm till 10 am .just to make sure that my family wanted for nothing. but she wanted more and more in the end she broke my spriit .I divoced her in the end .ileft her the house so my children wouldt suffer .i felt very sad ithougt we would grow old together ,i wouldnt go back .

If you have equally fond feelings for both, how you came to be ex's would weigh in very heavily, in my opinion. If you didn't like the steak when you sent it back, do you really want to order the same again?

if it is cooked rare and it isn't well-done like i want it, i'd send it back to be cooked accordingly. but it doesn't mean the steak tasted bad
Depends on the circumstances and just how "bad" the former relationship was. Many variables involved in this question.

I have already found out that it didn't work with the old one. Even if the spark was rekindled, it just wouldn't work and I know that. Besides, she is already working on husband number 94.
