O/P what do we need YOU to give us equal rights for? Your the gender that is rapidly becomming obsolete. We dont need you for procration anymore, artifical insemination has changed all that. Women are well educated, make as much or more money than men. Female children are being born 3 to 1 over males now. 75 cents of every dollar spent worldwide is spent by women. Soooo what exactly DO we need men for anyway? In fact I can see evolution rapidly making males a thing of the past. Really, the question should be...should WOMEN give MEN equal rights??? Roll that up in a page from your equally obsolete bible and smoke it dude!

One would certainly hope so Cars, but thats not reality for myself or most women for that matter. The reason I decided to speak up is the O/P is one of the most misguided souls Ive ever seen on here and frankly I get tired of the women bashing nonsense that hes constantly spouting....however, I certainly would expect better of you.

If we're talking about need on a Maslow type level - I haven't needed a woman in that respect for decades. So we don't need you either like that. But - I'd like a partner - and all that goes with it.
p.s. I have to admit I am totally crap at sewing and haven't yet met a man who is good at it who isn't a tailor. But I also haven't met many women who were good at fixing gearboxes and laying bricks - but that may be a generational thing.
