LucieLynn: I don't understand why this would even be a question...or a forum....OBVIOUSLY the answer is YES.
it is not true, women need not to have equal rights as men since they can't do everything man does. but i am in support that they have certain rights as men do but not equal rights.

In what way are women less capable than men? Men and women are different, but there are also things that women are better at than us.
Sebastino: Ok let us discuse, should women be given equal rights as men? even though there are certain areas in which they can not discharge there responsibility well. What do you think?

Wow. You are old fashioned aren't ya? Ridiculous. You need to be brought up to speed.
Sebastino: great response, great points. you have said it all, i am not on one side, it is a good thing women have certain rights on certain things as like the men but obviously not in all casesand that is how it should be in my own perspective, don't know about you.
You are contradicting yourself here and have done so in other posts as well. You say you are not on one side, but you also say women should not have equal rights in certain cases.

Sebastino: yes it is, how would you prove that?
So if we're not equal, why would it necessarily be men above women? Women endure more in life, behave better and commit less crime, so why not have men with inferior rights to women justified by these truths?
No need to prove it. Its obvious. We are both (men and women) human, therefore both entitled to equality. And that we are different is obvious. While there may be things that men are better at and things that women are better at, we compliment each other. However, we are individuals and do not all conform to stereotypes, and should not be forced to. There are a lot of shades of grey between black and white, men have a feminine side and women have a masculine side. Neither should be forced to one end of the scale. We are all human!
ChasingCars: So how many of you 'equal' women have invited a guy out for first date and expected to pay for it? Or does equality have limits?
Absolutely I have Cars...If I invite a gentleman out...I expect to pay...and I treat them royally to boot. In fact Ive given flowers to my lovers many times

I have done more than my share of asking guys out and paying for the meal...I have even bought him flowers and a six-pack of his favorite beer, picked my date up and driven my date back home and did not even expect that he would put out since I bought the meal.

How lovely that must have been. The first time a woman bought me flowers was 7 years ago. Not much more than a simple spray of Freesias, but it was a lovely gesture and so appreciated and I came home to their perfume every day for the rest of the week.

We are all humans i agree with you but does it mean we have to have equal rights? even economically we are not. there are still more rich and more poor people and we can also see in this situation it is not classified as men being rich and women being poor so it is a natural phenomena.

and this is why women everywhere are being held back because we are expected to cook clean and make baby for gods glory and to make the men feel like they are the boss. ah know that the bible also says its ok to stone someone for saying gods name in vain by that logic we'd be throwing rocks at every poor sod who said oh my god!... so sir you fail because your basing your opinion on a book that has outdated primitive views on treating women, i believe that a true relationship should be built on equality and respect for one another as people.
