i can easily see why you might get the impression americans might hate the obama administration but that is a false impression. what youre seeing all the time is the haters on this site venting their nonsense venom in a forum where it does not belong. really? john mccain and sarah palin should be in office then all our problems would disappear ? gee sorry guys, surely the republicans would have started world war 3 by now and that would be ok as long as we dont have health care. how lucky these people are to be living in a country where you can talk this way about the president in spite of the unbelievable issues he had to deal with coming into office. i support the president 100%.

i agree, some of the casinos are breathtaking, so many things i would like to see on the strip but the thing is the traffic. it takes a little of the fun away when you see what you are going to have to go through just to get from one place to another. it seems to have grown out of control. its truly the 8th wonder of the world. as far as crime, there is no problem on fremont street in the fremont street exprience area (the main strip area of downtown),there is pleanty of security there,if you keep walking past that area then you do come into a bad area but vegas is a transient town. theres lots of crime throughout. you just dont see all of it but its there.
golden nugget is just as good. fremont street experience is good because you can walk to all the casinos and hotels as theyre immediately next to each other. yes all the expensive massive casinos are on the strip but you are either going to have to taxi to other casinos when you get tired of one place or hit the street on foot and trek to the next place. not too convenient unless you really have to be on the strip. as a group i would think downtown would be made to order.
i dont know where you get your info. four queens is one of the nicest ones on fremont street (downtown strip) ive seen them all, what are you talking about ?
always a good idea to make reservations ahead of time but in the case of vegas this may apply more toward plane fare. room for two at the four queens in downtown is 25$ tomorrow night, same price at the circus circus on the strip. they have alot of rooms to fill. the nicer newer hotels on the strip are going to be more of course.
