Of course they should have equal rights,but we live in a world that will never give total equal rights,but it works both ways at times,but hopefully it will even itself out in the years to come.

In doing some "light" reading, I found that both women and men have fought for women to have equal rights as men, it is the respective countries governments that each man and woman lives in that have ultimately granted or not granted those rights.
However, most men and most women would say that there is still a certain "glass ceiling" in some places that does make it hard for a woman to get that promotion or raise in the workplace, to stand up for what the woman believes in without being ridiculed for her beliefs and that it is truly upsetting to both men and women in this day and age when someone tries to bring down an individual (male or female) in regards to equal rights. JMO

It's obvious but even biblically it is stated that a women is a helping hand, so it would therefore make no sense if she have equal right as the man. The man is the head of the family (includes everything and every where) There would be a big trouble if she leaves her responsibilities like taking care of the kids, cooking for the family, cleaning the home etc for the man or even share it between her and the man just because of the equal right. But it would also be nice to give them equal rights like to vote and be voted for, to own etc

Really? You do know that the bible was written by both men and women and men sorta got "uppity" and they removed most of the texts written by women or they re-worded what was written..............
But hey, for all I know, the parts about the individual staying home and cooking, cleaning, and caring for the children was originally written to mean the man and it got twisted somehow in the translation and an editor inserted woman instead of the word man.....
