yeh i guess most polls should, but radio nova or nova fm 100.00 has only reinvented itself in the last 2weeks, so i'm not surprised if too many people haven't heard of it or listened to it yet.------ This poll is Archived ------

Its a real give away of age! Oldies like me remember its original incarnation. It was a pirate station in Dublin which stopped broadcasting in '86. Was relaunched 2 weeks ago. Brilliant playlist!

There used to be a disco/club up there, Club Nova. It was up just outside Rathfarnham in the foothills of the Dublin mountains. At 17 we felt like such rebels to be drinking and dancing on the premises of a pirate station!

And the test playlist was superb
I'm glad it's back
When community radio came in and the laws were changed the standard of radio play dramatically increased and now it's gone to he'll again
So hopefully nova will improve that

I love all those classics, the only problem i have with it is that it plays songs at random, for example it'll play something great from the 70's then jump randomly to 2008, so one minute your rocking out the next your not. yano?
