Serious answer. Drinking. Almost anything can be accepted in moderation. Any addiction however is progressive and debilitating. Cigarette addiction is debilitating to the state of health of those taking part and sometimes to those around them, depending on the level of removal. Alcohol addiction is not as subtle and damages state of mind, personal relationships, careers and mental health as well as physical health. So outta those 2 choices I believe theres only one that can lead to total self destruction but that is a symptom of most types of addiction. i think smoking is worse as it is just an addictive thing you have to do and you get no enjoyment whatsoever from it where as having a few drinks with friends is a bit of a laugh and is a good way to spend an evening.
