I don't make them as such, but I do think the new year is a good start to do things afresh. Do ditch bad habits and renew oneself. To plan things better, etc.
In order to make our New Year’s Resolutions possible, we must understand that we fail sometimes. Don't give up.
A New Year Resolution and Habits are broken because we are Human Beings. The key is to cut down on your resolution and take small steps to a solution.
IE smoking
Very few people can quit cold turkey. Don’t try to quit on New Year’s Day. Get counseling and make a quit date after New Years. Get support from your friends and community.
This is why most people fail to make a resolution. They don't have the proper mindset to start out.
