Send mail. Sack your postman maybe?
Use the forums and have a giggle in here. They are quite relaxed and you can flirt all you like. There's quite a few Irish posters who may take your fancy, so who knows?

The time you spend here is only wasted if you leave before finding the one you're looking to meet. If you stay until you find that person, that time that would have been wasted suddenly becomes a worthwhile investment.
It's sort of like writing a novel. If you throw away the first chapter and start writing a new novel, the time spent is wasted. If you finish all but the last chapter or page, then throw it away, it's still all wasted. Only through perserverance until the final pen-stroke hits the page can you ever realize the value of the finished work.
The same thing goes for relationships. Too many people bounce from writing a few chapters in one novel to writing a few in another but never stay the course and complete the story of their life with their one true co-author because they find it easier to go looking for another co-author than to work out creative differences. Unfortunately, you can't write the same novel of life with a new co-author. You have to start from page one each time. Eventually, for some, the ink of life runs dry with nothing to show but a bunch of unrelated and half-written chapters with many co-authors. Don't give up, and you can eventually find someone who will share the creation of your new novel to the end.
