well,
I guess he is immortal to some, it depends on the viewpoint one has.
fact is, he WILL be in schoolbooks all over the world for years to come.
in a positive or negative way. and that makes him immortal.
another fact:
everybody walks the path of no return.
in this particular case, I guess to him and his followers it is death or glory..
and perhaps there is glory in death for them.
from my western point of view, he is walking to his end.

From what I hear, there's another conspiracy going on in the background involving the Muslim Brotherhood. It goes like this:
Muslin Brotherhood Warning
This morning the Muslim Brotherhood warned the United States that if the United States meddling in Libya continued they intend to cut off America 's supply of 7-11 and Motel 6 managers.
If this action does not yield sufficient results, cab drivers will be next, followed by Dell, AT&T and AOL customer service reps.
Finally, if all else fails, they have threatened not to send us any more presidents either.
It's gonna get ugly, people.
