Absolutely - I have worked in customer service for over 20 years.......there are enough rude people in this world......if someone doesnt say thank you - you damn right I'm going to say YOUR WELCOME!!
NOPE, I am not going to try and teach manners to the world.....Now, not to say that I did not stand on my kids head and they know their manners...
I once crashed a party I wasn't invited to, I INVADED THEIR FRIDGE AND cracked open a can of Diet Coke WITHOUT THEIR permission but I'VE SINCE CHANGED MY WAYS.
I did say thanks after I DOWNED THE CAN ....

I don't scream your welcome. I look at them, smile and say your welcome in my normal tone.

When I cracked open a second can of Diet COKE, they got really upset because I ASKED them if they had any lemon slices.
I was polite about it...

They told me to leave AND I did,,after about 20 minutes..they had great finger foods...mini eggrolls..spare ribs,chopped egg sandwichs.

I thought I was pretty generous....I didn't eat all the finger food,I mean,I didn't touch the mini rolled up hot dogs wrapped in dough...
