Mel Brooks was the most bankable comedy writer / director of the 70s... Does anyone remember "the 12 chairs", honestly, I am in bits each time i watch it... Ron Moody and Dom Deluise have never been funnier... And the near perfect "Young Feankenstien", the dance scene, "putting on the ritz", just pant wettingly funny...
Whatever became of MB, heard nothing of him in years?...
And "Blazing Saddles", the bit with the "Count Basie" orchestra, and the scene where that big guy punches out the horses lights... Sorry, shouldnt laugh but........
