Yep lgs, some leave some come back and some are new. Never dull around here..........well, maybe it is at times, but overall not bad at all. I'm with Ed, I will have the children, but still must watch some football!

Love the picture Calli! The horses are pretty too! After growing up in a small farming and ranching community in Kansas, you would think I would like horses more than I do. We just never got along well.

Beautiful Tangerino, so wonderful to see you back.

I agree, times have changed so much. When I was a kid, we went outside early in the morning, came home when we were hungry and at dinner time. Didn't know anything else. I agree, the kids need to be controlled with their video games. If my kids talk back, I simply tell them that they will respect my wishes or they will lose the right altogether. Take it away for a few days/weeks, they will know your serious. I know my ex was scared to death of someone taking off with one of the children if they went outside on their own. She was over the top with this fear. As they have gotten older, she now doesn't push them out the door much at all. When they are with me, I try to have a mix of activities, hiking, swimming, a walk down town, anything to get them out for a bit. Don't misunderstand, I am not the best at this either, but I do get them out often.

This sedentary lifestyle is creating young adults who don't know the value of hard work. I have seen such a drop off in work ethics in my industry over the past 15 years. It's rather sad. Here, everyone once things handed to them and don't like to work for there money.

Teddy, I have respect for everyone here, but my opinion of Saskia and her "Stories" is completely different than yours. I have interacted with her long before you came along. It is hard for one to sometimes believe that there are those in this world that are so much more traveled in life than others. I have never traveled much in my life and do not have the same experiences as others. There are many people in this world, even on these same blogs that travel often to all different parts of the world. Why was it so hard to believe that Saskia's travels were made up? I loved here "stories" about her dearly departed husband, her grandmother, the old lady that she spent a lot of time with when she was a child, her sailing trip to many parts of the world when she was gone from the blogs during this time and posted pictures. Just because someone lives their lives different than you or I does not make them fake. Did you ever consider once that her "Stories" were in fact real? This is my opinion only, because in my opinion, she was one of the most kind and generous woman on the blogs that has lived a wonderful life and no doubt will continue living her wonderful life while you and I live ours as well. Hope your feeling better after your surgery.

I will have to take my lead from Cherrie and Parti on this one. I don't like naming names, there's so many I could never pick 1 or 2 or 10. Everyone makes the blogs what they are. I think we all have some good and bad, we make some funny, interesting, smart and nice comments..........and we make some stupid, boring, off the wall, out in left field and rude comments. Maybe it depends on our mood at the time or whatever, but it's what makes it what it is.

I have a question and please don't take it wrong. You have a wonderful grasp of the English language. I am not familiar with your country. Did you live elsewhere to learn English so well? Forgive me for being unintelligent for not knowing much about your country, I mean no disrespect and I hope it's not taken that way.
