We all make mistakes Jana. It would be rude to make fun of someone for silly mistakes. The ones that get me are the English speaking only blogs that can not create even close to a full sentence. Really, why even bother?
Jana, you are so right. I only speak English. I did have some German in high school many years ago, but barely remember it. I am so impressed with those who speak more than one language. I think you are brilliant people!
I have seen this several times on this site. I don't get it. One of the people that I have seen correct the most on here makes typos themself all the time. I have so wanted to correct them, but it would be stooping to their level. Don't let it bother you Lindz. Some people think they are perfect and have to show it.........then others are nearly perfect and just know it!
That's awesome Jana, my oldest daughter is a senior this year and I am praying to god she gets a wonderful scholarship as well cause I don't know how on earth I will be able to send her where she would like to go. Tennessee has a lottery scholarship that helps greatly if a child stays in state and attends a college. Unfortunately for me, she wants to attend one of the Ivy League schools or a Private school. Ugh the thought of it is killing me! Here's to children!
Jana, I don't think it is common practice in the US to invite others to a Bday party and expect them to pay. It may have been a college thing where the kids really may struggle from day to day due to the huge expense of going to college that they couldn't afford to pay for everyone that went to the dinner. It should have been stated before going, however, that everyone was "going Dutch". If I were going to invite people for a bday party, I would not expect them to pay their own way, unless of course I was completely broke, then I would probably skip the birthday party thing all together. That's my opinion only.
Lindz, I'm not sure that I agree it is okay for men to date younger woman or for woman to date younger men. I think they would be ridiculed either way. Except maybe among their friends. People in this world will always find something to ridicule another for. It's natural. What one has to do is know what is right for them, if it feels right, let it work itself out, no matter man or woman, there will be ridicule. If you feel what you are doing is right for you, then to hell with what others think, they can go on living their miserable life while you are happy with yours.
Score, maybe try changing your profile name to something other than Score. To me and I am sure to most woman, they probably only think you are looking for a quick piece and nothing serious. If that's what your looking for so be it, that's your choice. My opinion only. Good luck to you.
You can say and write whatever you like Sir Lion. I'm not going to get into a debate of who's right, who's wrong, who did what, why, when, how. Your no longer worth my time and I will keep to myself from now and and refrain from commenting on your blogs. Write what you want, if I had the time of day to research this I am sure that for every thing you put up against another country or another religion I could counter with stuff about your religion or another country. Good question Sugar. Let's see, where to start. Last relationship or my marriage? Hmmmmm......my marriage ended because she was controlling, demeaning and judgemental. I didn't like who I had become and after 2 years of counseling I had enough. My last relationship ended because she wanted things to move way to fast and I wasn't ready for that.
I have no regrets for ending either, other than how hard it can be on children of course. I try not to look back and always move forward. I'm the type that when I make a decision, I don't second guess it and move on.
Change about myself? I would probably say that I have become one to more lay it all on the table up front so there are no lingering questions. I am who I am, take me the way I am or move on. My opinion only of course!
I don't believe woman are that shy. If they are interested, as jana said, they will email. It's easy to get over shyness when you looking at a computer screen.
