Being polite, courteous and tactful becomes boring after 5 minutes. After 10 minutes the temptation to start enjoying yourself becomes just too strong. That's been my experience, anyway.
Daniela, you've pointed out how unpleasant life would be for us if we suddenly lost our electricity and what you say is very true. I think, though, that the intention of the blog was to question how modern technology has changed the way we interact with people and conduct our relationships. Perhaps it's not my place to mention this, as it is Buny's blog, but I hope you will both forgive me for sticking my nose in.
