Things I can't explain

And I'm comforted to know there is someone else as strange as me, molly. flower

Things I can't explain

I often wondered what made me tick, daniela. hmmm

Fending for Myself

I think I might have OCD, molly. I have an obsessive compulsion to ignore all the little jobs I should be getting on with. sigh

RE: English is so weird

The only time weird language would be appropriate and he doesn't use any. dunno

Fending for Myself

I know what you mean, Fay, I would find cooking easier if I knew what I liked. confused

Fending for Myself

I think I've managed to keep my sanity, johnjjm, but perhaps I'm not the best judge of that. uh oh

Fending for Myself

There will be no dinner parties at the Harbal residence, Biff. scold

Fending for Myself

MiMiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii handshake

Eating out is expensive, and Harbal is too mean with his money. scold

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

No problem, nam, as long as I don't have to revere a piece of cloth on a stick. handshake

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

Okay, nam, message received; I'll keep my opinions to myself. thumbs up

RE: Homeless Vets vs Illegal Aliens

Miguel, any sympathy I have with asylum seekers does not extend to fit and opportunistic men looking for an easy life. If that man were genuine I would say put him back on a boat and sink it. But he isn't genuine; you know that as well as I do.

RE: Homeless Vets vs Illegal Aliens

Wow, Miguel, that sure seems like a bona fide asylum seeker mocking his hosts on Youtube for all to see. And why wouldn't it be, what could be more logical? roll eyes

RE: Homeless Vets vs Illegal Aliens

So do the ones who've seen somebody get blown up go to the top of the list, EX, while the ones who haven't seen any action get put lower down?
There are a lot of serious accidents in the construction industry, should a man who has seen his mate fall to his death from some scaffolding get preferential treatment?

RE: Homeless Vets vs Illegal Aliens

Is it too late to ask for a refund, jim?

RE: Homeless Vets vs Illegal Aliens

Why is an ex forces homeless person higher priority than any other homeless citizen?

To whom it may concern

No matter, molly. snooty

I'm bigger than to let this come between us. innocent

To whom it may concern

A man with a Barnsley accent is in no position to mock anybody, MiMi.

handshake

RE: Where else but CS ?

Life would certainly seem long, if not happy. uh oh

RE: Strange movies that have cult followings

Trust me, Crest, that car is not your style.

RE: Strange movies that have cult followings

This could almost be a LeeCharming thread. Are you trying to compete, Crest?

To whom it may concern

Hi, wen, my friend, whom I am always glad to see. cheers

To whom it may concern

But life is full of buts, Bloody, it's hard to see how we can avoid them.

So I can't get you to sign up for my campaign to get rid of 'whom' then? sigh

To whom it may concern

I'm a bit disappointed at your sitting on the fence regarding 'genre', molly; after all I've done for you I would have expected a bit more support than that. I didn't even know about the preposition rule until Biff informed us. I'm always a bit nervous about posting when Biff is around, similar to how I would feel strumming my guitar in front of Eric Clapton. bowing

To whom it may concern

Keep up the good work on 'whom' and make a bit more effort to avoid 'genre', smiley. thumbs up

To whom it may concern

A preposition at the end of a sentence, Biff! wow I would never put one on. innocent

RE: Where else but CS ?

Where are you on the list, Crest? Or does modesty prevent self inclusion?

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

I find the picture of the kids holding the flag and reciting 'The Pledge Of Allegiance' a bit sinister, nam. For a country that is so anti communism it is very reminiscent of the Soviet Union and China; North Korea too, in all likelihood. Not that I'm saying there is anything inherently communist in the practice, it just smack a little of brainwashing. We never had anything like that at school, but at junior school I remember the atlases having half the World coloured in pink, to show the extent of the 'British Empire'. It gave us a rather unrealistic impression of our country's significance.

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

Here's to the onlookers and observers, nam, may they ever continue to look on and observe. wine

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

We do have those privileges in principle, nam, but the powers that be might occasionally put their own interpretation on them when it suits, as do powers that be everywhere else, no doubt.

RE: Exploring a new music genre.

You weren't to know this, Philipsen, and even if you had you are certainly under no obligation to take it into consideration, but one of the words that I most despise in the whole of human language is 'genre'. doh frustrated

Yes, I know, it's my problem. sigh
