Molly, I think the practice nurse is beginning to have concerns regarding the doctor patient relationship here. Perhaps a home visit would be more appropriate.
I get what you're saying, Biff, and completely agree with you. You hear that kind of misinformation all the time from certain people, they just can't help spreading it, even when their common sense tells them it can't be right.

My father-in-law used to grow a big greenhouse full of tomatoes every year,To0ts. For a few weeks we used to have more intensely flavoured tomatoes than we knew what to do with. I've never bought any from the stores that come anywhere near them.
