Perhaps the US is going through "growing pains"...but be careful who you vote for...a nation of immigrants should not vote yes to division and distrust...
Sanders was a breath of fresh air...too bad he was looked upon as too radical or "communist" in his views...who wouldn't want free health care or education...
It is clear that the Republican party is fractured...Trump got elected party head...
Despite your idea that the US is in a mess...politically speaking...I do think Sanders and Trump shook up the status quo...
However, people have to be smart enough to recognize opportunists...such as Trump who have no problem lying or creating drama to suit his own agenda...unlike Sanders who has spent his political career caring about people in general...just look at his record...
The dystopian views of Trump have made him popular or rather created fear and division within society...reminiscent of the past...we need to remember our past mistakes and go forward not regress...
Thanks for your comments...til the next debate...hopefully Donald will have something new to say...lol...
On one note...if American politics is not seen as a democratic process or a system that does not reflect the ideals of average Americans...what Ken has mentioned...should the "process" be Changed?...
If Americans boycott...what would be the Outcome?...Seems to me Clinton listened to Sanders' fans and promised education for those who make less than 120,000 not to mention health care...she is more left than she has been...thanks to Bernie...
Now if only the poor uneducated Caucasians would warm to her reforms...like the ones Trump is talking about...
If Clinton is not your favorite...Green party or Libertarian may be a consideration...what bothers me about Republicans...it is the idea that climate change is not a consideration...they are in denial...
