The man !
Tiredness was upon the man, he had strolled along with his dog at a pace that seemed to suit his disposition. Finding an arena from which to muse on his place in the universe and sitting to rest his legs for a bit only seemed to give him time to meditate on his aches and pains, they were not to many but they were constant. Niggling and sporadic; Sometimes a knee other times an elbow a shoulder or if the weather was cold enough the haunting creek in his neck would remind him that he was growing old, it was a stark contrast to his walking thoughts when the ignorance and excuse of youth was on his side. When the infinite sun of future summers shone and warmed the imaginings of the long journey he would walk into life. Contrasts indeed he thought as he rubbed his leg and jostled on his spot to purchase some comfort. How fast his travels he thought.
How short the road he once pondered to be long had been,
and how unexpectedly this night of moon lit mentation had occurred.
The Irish air was damp and cold but ample layers of clothing ensured warmth and as the heavy constant rains of winter had not started yet so a light jacket and rain trousers provided adequate protection from the damp ground and moist autumn air. The night was druidic It felt typically Irish and you would most likely have to be Irish to feel what that meant. The man lay back and became enshrouded in this cultural enfold. It was as though he was wearing the very heaven's embroidered cloths, and there in the half-light of the glow of the Waxing moon his apparent insignificance gave him strength. The Strength came in the form of a sense of freedom, not the type of freedom that was somehow manufactured it was more the type that was born to the earth. God given some would say and others would call it sovereign. But the man just knew it was his. For those few moments in time his thoughts seemed as insignificant as a distant star with all the weight and implication of a black hole.
People are like that you see, Contradictions, Pushing away those we wish to hold, running with those that slow us down and asking the forgiveness of those who abuse us. We are all searching for the sovereignty of our own personal freedom while we feel a wanting to corral and share its beauty with another. This is the give and take of the self and the selfless. Yet underneath the dark matter of these paradoxes that seem to brood within the living conflict, Infringements we all find as we begin to partake in the journey of the self. Here smoulder the embers of a fire, small sparks that are burning the dream of a better tomorrow into our very essence. Not just a tomorrow of individual concern but one that yearns for integrity and the togetherness of a better humanity.

Some people keep walking at same area, getting around at same place without keep moving forward.
And those one who never learn by their fault, remind or keep it as learn for your self.
Each path have their own story as their learn of life

Yes plenty of broken records to listen to in the CS store
Just a change of pace for the old place

Just some are bitter and grumpy. Others not so much

Be good Pal.
Your ancient culture and identity is embedded in your DNA
You just have to open your eyes and soul to feel it.

The vividness of your imagery is outstanding.
You are a true artist with words.
There is a primordial relationship that links each of us with Nature and with each other for we are all part of Nature and she is part of us.
To me, this is the driving force underlying that journey into a deeper insight or awareness of oneself and our shared humanity.
So glad that my writing struck a cord with you,
"our shared humanity." I like that my friend.
Just for you Non
