Headaches can be due to withdraw from caffeine...not just a symptom of high blood pressure...if you experience headaches beyond 2 weeks...see a medical professional...
Short mans' syndrome...makes for a very shrill and very pushy male...having to prove his proverbial short-comings...but a strong male will overcome this notion and act accordingly...no different to a tall female with a lack of male companionship...due to discrimination...
We all have insecurities but why let it rule you?...
As you know...I have discontinued my cable and not missing a thing...lol...but I do go on line often...
As far as I am concerned...I have been much more interested in historical events and news worthy programs on line...so perhaps weaning myself off of cable is for the better...no longer just wanting mind numbing programs but developed an actual interest in events that are happening around the world...
The parents were shocked that their 12 year old was responsible for shooting that man...and they said he does need to be punished and if there is a psychological problem...they wanted him to get counselling and treatment...unfortunately the prison system does not provide many programs unlike juvenile detention...
Yeah right...I do not share your enthusiasm regarding Trump or Republicans...do like Bernie though...
Back to my blog topic...there are people out there that want to look tough on crime but serves an injustice to many...look at the second video clip...the fallout and tragedy that occured because they the prosecution and the police department including the social worker decided to put words in the childrens' mouth and made them feel that they had no choice but to lie...sometimes people act badly...and it is up to society to ensure appropriate measures or checks are in place regarding the judicial process...
I think in this case the parents were naive of the system...the boys signed waiver of appeals...and somehow got them tried as adults...but fortunately the 12 year old's case was reviewed...not in adult prison...and on condition of his progress in juvenile detention will determine how long he will be incarcerated...
It is obvious that the 12 year old was not a problem child...he became a mentor for many boys held in juvenile detention...a role model...
That is the good news...as for the other older boy...good that his dad visits and forgives him...his mother has yet to visit...
The step dad was a drinker and the boy thought he was abusing his mother...not an excuse to murder but it seems that he was troubled...but no one stepped in...sad really...he is now in the adult prison area...
I think the family of his step dad are stuck with mixed feelings...want justice for their family member but recognize that he was troubled...
What a price to pay when you are young and stupid...the thought of adult prison would scare anyone...and yes how long will they serve?...but there were more mistakes made in the case of the two boys...the parents were rather naive in the whole process...
Thanks for commenting...although the two boys did comit murder...I think the whole point is that they were tried as adults...and I believe that they need psychological counselling to find out what makes them tick sort to speak...to rule out the possibility of being psychopaths...
Thanks for stopping by...I agree with you...they need to be treated as juveniles not like adults...but still have to be punished...and hopefully change...
These boys were not bad kids...it just shows you that kids need guidance from their parents...under developed brains that cannot navigate around problems effectively...or properly...would have been better if the kids could talk to a parent about their troubles instead of acting out...but now they regret it...they truly are sorry...
The problem is how can a system be fair to both sides...looking at Norways' penal system...an interesting way of rehabilitating criminals...
Terrible things happen but young people do not always do the right thing...hard to forgive and forget...the step father wasn't a saint but did not deserve to be killed...
