There are always risks involved when you have pets. And you are right about living close to roads. You see dead cats, squirrels, birds, deer and other animals every day lying on the road or on the side of the road. It is tragic!

First of all, you get Medicare @ 65 not 66. If you get Social Security @ 65, you will have an extra $10,800 versus taking SS @ 62. If you plan on working part time or so. You might want to take the SS @ 62. This way you can start enjoying your retirement earlier. Secondly, what if you died in the 3rd year. You wouldn't have enjoyed any of the money!
