this story is so close to home for me, it almost isn't funny. I sometimes feel ashamed of my fellow men who are just out looking for the BBD, the bigger, better, deal... and don't really care who's heart gets broken along the way. While I'm sure that there are those women that are guilty of the same crimes, I see this a lot with the male gender, being an older man.
UR KNIGHT, your's is the best one of all! But since I am old and a bad shot, I would just prefer to run over them with my old truck... over and over and over...(whoops, that sounds a bit demented, doesn't it?)
Ladies, please forgive my manners, are there any members of the "Sweet & Gentle Gender" that would care to comment? We are gentleman everyone and as you probably well know by now, we all aim to please...
Well Gentlemen, there we have it! And a new denomination has just been born! Now that we have our doctrine and job assignments settled I say we head for the cooler for some refreshment, all in favor say Amen!
Well Hello Baltus! I have a favor to ask. Would find fieldr and take him out and get him drunk? He needs to relax. I feel so sorry for him, I think he was left in the oven too long and he seems a bit over-cooked...
fielder? what are you smoking? whatever it is I would take it back and get my money back. You need to take a "chill pill" and calm down before you explode into one big mess of "poo-poo"... I believe that is how it is pronounced??? Do you really think that anyone cares what you are saying at this point? I am sorry for you my little friend, your anger and narrow-mindedness has spoiled your happy little conversation filled with happy thoughts for all of us who really don't give a bucket of pig popo about what you have to say... You have a nice day now...
My friends, I can't tell you how much I truly enjoy visiting with you and sharing my thoughts... There is so much truth in what you all say. By the way, I'm not really a heathen though I do sometimes behave like one. (a heathen is someone without any religious convictions) Quite honestly, I've seen so many miracles in my life I have kept a private journal of them which I am considering publishing so that I might share it with friends like yourselves. I enjoy discussing everything, but like you said Jim, arguing accomplishes nothing. I enjoy the thoughtful input from all of you, it truly "makes my day"...

Kapjen, remember the scripture "answer not a fool...", as I believe that is what we are talking to here. People are free to believe what they want, it doesn't have to make any sense, as we have seen by this continuing conversation. Once again, thank-you for your blog and I am sorry to see it spoiled by someone of obvious lack of intellect and spirituallity. I look forward to your next posting.
fieldir, I will pray for you that the God that you speak of will open your eyes and mind and close your mouth until you know what you are talking about. You are embarassing us men by speaking so long and loud and in total error. Sin is an archery term meaning "to miss the mark" and you surely have with your remarks. So the person here who is truely guilty of sin is you, my self-righteous brother. Enough said.
You know, after reading what a bunch of lazy, shiftless, no deposit, no return men there are in the world I think what you girls need is to just find another woman to live with...
This story hit very close to home. I have a young aquaintance that is severly crippled with rhuemetoid arthiritus (SP?) and unless you've been there and had your heart broken, you can't imagine what it feels like to know you can never run and jump and play...
No one said when you might find your soul mate... I was about 59 or 60 years of age. I had finally just given up on the whole concept of soul mates and when I met her I knew it within the first few minutes... Now don't get me wrong, it was a rough and rocky road sometimes, but we are still together and I would not want to spend my life without her. The key for me was figuring out that the world didn't revolve around me... (now that was a shock!!!) But I've lived through it... I believe the key here is to keep your heart open and your feet on the ground (use a little common sense...) and remain flexible!
Engineer... I have read your story and am not sure that I am qualified to give you advice, but will share with you some of my own experience. I am presently 63 years old, retired and held over 50 different jobs by the time I was 30 years of age when I stopped counting. I have attended 5 years of trade schools and am still studying to learn new things that I am interested in. You are a highly talented and intelligent man that has his whole working career still ahead of him. You need to do what is in your heart, not on someone else's agenda. Being your own man is what makes you the man you are, and are striving to become. Don't ever back down from what you feel is right, you have to live with yourself for the rest of your life, no matter what other people say or think. I believe in you for one reason, you stood up under the pressure of public opinion. That takes more courage than all of the degrees ever signed for people none of us will remember, but you my friend will be remembered. The best of luck to you and I will remember you in my prayers and don't give up and never ever give in...
I don't know Jim, sometimes I wonder just how much thinking really goes on anymore. That's what I like about my friends on this site, there are some very insightful and deep-thinking folks to visit with...
thank-you Baltus, it is good to hear from you. When you hear about somebody having something like this happen to them and the wisdom that they used to deal with it, it has to make you smile...

I think Jim that is the difference between winners and losers. I'm just a old guy who lives each day for the day and am happy with who I am and where I find myself at the end of the day. I think maturity have everything to do with it, not just age. You cannot "pretend" yourself into the land of happiness AS A HUMAN BEING, you are either there or you are NOT...
RE: joke of the day
I don't get it... here else was she supposed to hang him???
