that is so very wise, and so very true... and not everyone has that ability. I believe the ability to love like that is a gift we have to be born with, you cannot manufacture it...

snb, well it might be okay... but why just one girlfriend? There are sme guys that have 12 or 14 wives and of course a whole heard of kids. Of course usually in those countries women are considered the man's possessions, like his goats and chickens. Yea that might be okay, if the guys got a lot of stamina, and he could always put you girls to work to pay the bills. I dunno, I have a hard time (no pun intended...) getting along all the time with one person at a time... two or more could spell trouble...
Men are a complicated animal, at best... especially the older they get. I don't know of a man that doesn't get the message when a woman dresses discretely, that she dresses to please herself, not just to have men oogle her. This makes a huge statement to a man, I'm the one in control and I do what I want, when I want, for whom I want... there is something so alluring about this it just drives men crazy. And that's the point...
I enjoyed what you had to say... There is a fine line between "helping" and "enabling"... I think we only can find the truth in this by helping one person at a time. I always try to remember that there is always a reason that people find themselves in a "needy" situation. That is what now governs my helping anyone anymore...

Well Hello my friend, how are you doing today? I'm sorry to say that the anger management classes that I went to were really poor. The only person that stayed until the end was me. But it was good for me, it taught me to stay away from people and situations that were stressful, so now I do. Anger almost never helps. It is a wonderful motivator if channelled correctly, but if not, it can be disasterous, as you probably already know. I like your quotes, I'm in the process of writing a quote book, as well as some other projects, I really enjoy doing it. I also write music, I have over 100 to date. I'm working on a gospel and a country cd at present. Well, see you tomorrow, it is 11:00 pm here so I'm off to the roost...

Please forgive me if I sound a bit negative. I know from past experience that there are only two kinds of relationships. There are the kind that are the very heart and soul of joy and happiness. You wake up next to her and your own heart's laughter fills your heart and mind and soul with such a joy that only the angels can understand your happiness. Just her touch, a glance, the sound of her breathing in the stillness of the night... steals your breath away and almost stops the beat of your heart. When you make love to her and she to you, you feel as though you are finally alive, and then and only then, does your whole life make any sense, or have any real value. You know beyond a doubt that this is why you were ever born, to love and be loved by her, and that NOTHING else matters. That is why it can destroy you so badly when things turn out otherwise... and yes I do speak from heart breaking, mind numbing, life crushing experience.
