RE: are we so simiral????????

passed times that never get back, get used to it

RE: are we so simiral????????

wrong way to say this

RE: are we so simiral????????

Crowler, not being the same means similar aint it

RE: are we so simiral????????

looks more like you walk on water Crowler

RE: are we so simiral????????

if we all would be the same, no one was gonna find him/herself a stranger in a strange land anymore.
but if that would make life more exciting, I doubt

RE: are we so simiral????????

its not about beauty on the outside, its the inner beauty
making worth doing all the effords one has to make to accomplish something

RE: Cultural differences

oke, thanks.

agree on that

RE: Cultural differences

meaning in English?

RE: Cultural differences

step 1 is to know it,
step 2 is to want it
step 3 is: start by doing what is necesarry, then what is
possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

One day at the time

RE: Cultural differences

the only secret spell I go with is to love others, the way I love myself,
would be great if all people where aware of this secret

RE: Cultural differences

Halakala,

I,m not pessimistic, would have gave up a long time ago if I was,
I,m realistic, but also still believe in the goodness of mankind.
And I am a happy person and very gratefull for all the things I have and experienced, a lot of people have to settle with less.
I love my kids and they love me, dough they tend to call me a Dutch witch at times, sl lets shake hands

handshake

RE: Cultural differences

Morgan, I understand what you are saying, and would like to react on it, but not in this blog,(your area is blocked) cause as free as dutch are suppossed to be, there's only one person getting away with all he's telling in our country and thats
Geert Wilders, don't know if you heard about him overthere.

I know what you mean with the life aid feeling back then and it sure seems to be vanished these days, the world changed a lot last years, as also human behavior towards others, we live in a selfish minded society now a days.
But I also believe, as long as there's people willing to "fight" to make this world a better place again, there still is a chance.

Change the world, start with yourself, thats what I tell myself if I bump into things I don't like.

I don't know who it is I believe in, some call it God, for me it's a supersoul watching over us, and must be real sad to see what's going on these days

RE: Older women

hee Willem, ben je verhuisd ?

RE: Cultural differences

oke, I understand now, the mix up.
You must feel lonely at times fighting the battle with the white flags, cause I have the feeling there's just a few that understand these days.
I remember Werchter 1982, was there, and we had a dog called Bono, named after the real Bono, unfortunatly only got 1 year old.
Don't give up your white flag battle, it's a good one.

RE: Older women

Morgen, I go with you for the white flag, I hate battles.

About the rest of your answer,
your mixing two blogs now or?

I agree with that too but does not match with this one

and as for men and woman behavior, there always will be some that make the whole crowd look bad, but as long as we can look in our own eyes without being ashamed, there is still hope

RE: Older women

Morgen, I,m not sure if you mean you are really in a battlefield, but if you mean the battlefield like in the song, I understand.
Remember that clip very well and it sure tells what life is about. And again, thanks for standing up for Lighter, guess he's kind of in that field to, but not enough words to express right now.

RE: Cultural differences

Cytrynka, you are right with that.
I,m from Europe too, but you have to be willing to losen up from both sides, otherwise it's not gonna work

RE: Cultural differences

are you still there Lalja, after all this is your blog
have we been a bit of a help for you, or only made it worse?

RE: Cultural differences

oke, to bad, must tell you, don't trust on that translator with everything its bringing up.
Could get you in trouble

RE: Cultural differences

Aha, spreek jij nederlands?

Explain

RE: Older women

Morgen, thank you for explaining Lighter what we ment to say.

And Lighter, you're still welcome

RE: Cultural differences

can only talk for myself,
you found a friend

handshake handshake yay yay yay handshake

RE: Cultural differences

Good to hear Crowler, but only on this?
are there things she missed too?
If you wanna talk about it feel free lol

RE: Cultural differences

goodnight Halakala

RE: Cultural differences

Crowler, your mother must be proud of you, you're one of the few

RE: Cultural differences

Crowler, I agree,
And Lalja, for you, next time take some time to talk about this kind of things too, which I,m sure you will.
American men are something different too, I know and found out myself. They not always appreciate the Dutch woman with a mind of theire own and are very possesive, but good conversation about the subject will get you in the middle, and if not, let it go. I think this counts for every country, and every man and woman. Love alone is not always enough.
Good luck next time

RE: Cultural differences

Halakala, I do understand, and in this case, I think he should have paid all you wanted to do or see, or eat, if he really liked you he should have treated you as a queen

RE: Cultural differences

sorry got lost

don't you think other men would ask the same Crowler?

RE: Cultural differences

Halakala, I think your right, your his guesst in his country so he should at least pay for the food

RE: Cultural differences

Halakala, I think your right, and the most sad part is, you pay and still are hungry.
Your his guest and there for he need to pay at least for the food
