Stool, adding that to the story, I agree with you, and understand what you mean. My brother and his wife have a handicapt kid and they cannot handle it either, and she is so sweet and lovable. I take her in my home every once in a while, and seeing her brighten up, its worth all the money of the world. But also, as you say, bringing her back, see the sad face, I wish I had never known her too. My brother and his wife have no clue what they are doing either, and thats real sad for the kid. At least she knows I love her.
Jules, your lucky then we did not have to pay before either but they changed the rules without letting us know. Its been a while and I can live with it now, but still think a grave I a place to respect, one should not dig it up for the sake of money. But they do ask a lot of money to keep it in place after 20 years, we know now. If this goes on then, in a few years, the graveyard is just a place for the fortunate ones among us that have enough money to keep it up and that should not be the thing.
Thats what they say Parti, don't know if its true we also use to say, where there is hair, there is no brain. Don't know if that is true either. But I think the wisdom thing might be true for you, in that case, forget about the hair
ooh I see, is this your way of pshycological war? Don't we all want to die fast and no suffering I know there is no escape if something big happens but I refuse to let those thoughts control my life it would spoil the happines I still feel being surrounded with my kids and little grandson. I like to believe they do have some kind of a future I call this, keep staying positive you might call it, put my head in the sand But till now I survived, I think mainly because of my possitive nature
My dad used to say, if youre afraid of tomorrow, better hang yourself today.
your right Leonardo, but we also live in a so called democratic country and there for I think we have right to choose, which way we want to leave this earth. Choose in freedom and not made by money cause its true, a lot of people choose cremation for the money
even in Holland we had an earthquake coupple a weeks back 7.4 Richter
But I think the big end will last our time. I don't believe in the magical date 21/12/12, its already happening but takes its time, but do agree, where heading the wrong way
I did move on my friend, this happend 5 years ago don't tell you I,m still walking around with that on my back It just popped up in my mind But thank you very much for your good advice
his remains are burned togheter with others they dug up, it;s all gone and to sue, thats not done in Holland either, they just tell us its our own fault, we shouls have paid the rent forgetting about the fact we did not know
My dad was the first funeral we had to take care for ourselfs, and we thought everything was in good hands with the undertaker and insurance company. We did not know that we only had a 20 year range for him to be there, no one told us that time. It appears to be that after 20 years we need to pay rent to keep the grave where it is. But the announcement of that was either lost in mail or never send, so we didn't know,, and they dug him up. Funerals in Holland are expensive already, between 10 and 15 thousend dollar so one would think, for that money they let you rest in peace forever, but thats not the thing, as we found out. The remains they find, they bring to the crematorium and burn them, so we have nothing left, but our memories. Good memories.
As you say, I think its for the same reason cremations are getting popular in Holland too.
