RE: dark and foggy night,

That is such a nice story!! I can totally relate to your experience of holding that little boy. I taught preschool for about 2 or 3 years before I could not go without kids with me all the time. Then I became a foster parent! I adopted my daugter 6 years ago in October!!!! I have gone 8 days without her and I have 2 more to go!!!!! I AM GOING INSANE!!!! She on the other hand is having the time of her life!!!

It was very nice of you to help that gentleman and his son. They will remember your kindness for years to come!!!!innocent applause

RE: thinking...

Astii,

It sounds like you have an idea of what you enjoy in life from a career standpoint. It sounds like you enjoy helping others even when there is no monetary gain for you. You are still young and active. Have you ever heard of the Peace Core? That is a place to do good, volunteer, teach and make a difference.

You sound like a good person. Find what makes you happy and see how you can turn it into the career you want! Google searches can really help with this.

I did this in a way, I did not like seeing how kids with disabilities were taught so I started my own business called handicapable living, it is a lot of work and I have not been able to get it running yet, but I will because that is the goal I set for myself.

Best of Luck,

hug

RE: Destined for Solitude?

You know, I am starting to think that anyone looking for a long lasting serious relationship is in the same boat!!! Those of us that know we want to find a long lasting love look and look in every nook and cranny but unfortunately, it will happen when we are able to handle it and not before.

I think you are very lucky that you found love once, you will find it again. I can only cross my fingers it will happen for me! Don't give up!
